Welcome to iCreateMyReality.org.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of iCreateMyReality.org, including its community features, member accounts, discussions, posts, comments, resources, and any other services made available through the website.
The website is operated by Adam Miceli (“I,” “me,” or “my,” and, where appropriate, “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing member-only features, or otherwise using the community, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register for or use the community.
Please read these Terms carefully.
1. Purpose of the Community
iCreateMyReality.org is a community for exploring ideas, sharing knowledge, engaging in discussions, and connecting with other people interested in understanding reality and creating meaningful changes in their lives.
The community may include discussions and resources relating to philosophy, spirituality, personal development, health, psychology, consciousness, religion, science, alternative perspectives, and other subjects.
The community is intended to encourage curiosity, independent thinking, open discussion, and the exchange of perspectives.
Participation does not require agreement with any particular viewpoint, philosophy, belief system, or interpretation of reality.
However, participation is subject to the rules and conditions described in these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Registration
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or participate in the community.
By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
2.2 Account Registration
Registration may be open to the public, but submitting a registration does not guarantee acceptance into the community.
I reserve the right to approve, reject, or otherwise restrict registrations at my discretion, subject to applicable law.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to update your information when reasonably necessary to maintain the accuracy of your account.
You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity for fraudulent purposes, or create an account using information you are not authorized to use.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for taking reasonable steps to secure your account.
You agree to notify me if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account or suspect that your credentials have been compromised.
You must not access another person’s account without authorization or use the community to compromise the security of another account, the website, or its underlying systems.
2.4 One Person, One Account
Unless otherwise authorized, accounts are intended for individual use.
You must not sell, transfer, or share your account in a manner that compromises security, misrepresents membership, or violates these Terms.
3. Membership and Fees
3.1 Free Community Access
At the time these Terms take effect, membership in the iCreateMyReality.org community is free.
No membership fee is required to participate in the community’s free membership features.
I reserve the right to introduce optional paid products, services, memberships, events, or other offerings in the future.
Any paid offering will be subject to its applicable pricing, terms, and conditions, which will be communicated separately where appropriate.
3.2 No Guaranteed Availability of Features
Free access does not guarantee that every feature, resource, discussion area, or service will remain available indefinitely.
Features may be added, modified, restricted, suspended, or discontinued as the community develops.
3.3 Donations
Voluntary donations may be accepted to support my work, content creation, or the continued operation and development of the community.
Donations are voluntary contributions and are not required for membership.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a donation does not purchase a particular product, service, membership benefit, or guaranteed outcome.
Donations are not represented as charitable contributions or as tax-deductible gifts unless expressly confirmed by the recipient and permitted under applicable law.
Donation terms, payment processing arrangements, and refund eligibility may depend on the particular donation method and applicable law.
If a payment is actually made in exchange for a product or service, it will be treated according to the applicable transaction terms rather than automatically being classified as a donation.
4. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use
The community is intended to support open discussion, intellectual exploration, and meaningful interaction.
You are welcome to express unconventional opinions, question established assumptions, discuss controversial subjects, and disagree with other members.
However, participation must remain consistent with the following guidelines.
4.1 Respectful Disagreement
You may challenge another member’s arguments, beliefs, interpretations, or conclusions.
You are not required to agree with another member or to avoid difficult conversations simply because a topic is controversial.
However, disagreement must not become harassment, targeted abuse, threats, or persistent personal attacks.
Criticize ideas and arguments rather than using the community to intimidate, degrade, or target individuals.
4.2 Harassment and Abuse
You must not use the community to engage in:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation.
- Threats of violence or other credible threats of harm.
- Targeted abuse or persistent unwanted contact.
- Doxxing or the unauthorized disclosure of another person’s private information.
- Stalking or efforts to intimidate members outside the community.
- Discriminatory harassment or abusive conduct directed at individuals or groups.
- Impersonation intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others.
Nothing in this section is intended to prohibit lawful discussion of discrimination, political issues, social conflicts, or controversial ideas.
4.3 Spam and Unsolicited Promotion
You must not use the community primarily as a platform for unsolicited advertising, repetitive promotional posts, spam, or deceptive marketing.
You must not engage in fraudulent fundraising, scams, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive commercial activities.
Promotion of your own projects, services, products, or content may be permitted where appropriate, subject to any additional rules established for particular areas of the community.
I reserve the right to determine whether promotional activity is appropriate for the community.
4.4 Illegal or Harmful Activity
You must not use the website to facilitate illegal activity, commit fraud, distribute malicious software, threaten others, or otherwise violate applicable law.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, interfere with its operation, or exploit technical vulnerabilities without authorization.
You must not use the community to facilitate violence, exploitation, or other unlawful harm.
4.5 Intellectual Property and Content Rights
You must not knowingly post content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
If you share material created by someone else, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary permission or other lawful basis to share it.
Where appropriate, credit the original creator and provide a link to the source.
4.6 Deception and Manipulation
You must not use the community to impersonate others, deliberately misrepresent the source of information for fraudulent purposes, or engage in deceptive conduct that harms other members.
Good-faith disagreement, speculation, personal interpretations, and the discussion of unconventional ideas are not, by themselves, violations of these Terms.
4.7 Enforcement
These guidelines are intended to establish reasonable expectations for participation.
I retain discretion to interpret and enforce them in light of the circumstances, the nature of the conduct, the interests of the community, and applicable law.
5. Moderation and Administrative Authority
5.1 Right to Moderate
I reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation, to monitor, review, moderate, edit, move, restrict, hide, or remove content submitted to the community.
Moderation may occur in response to a complaint, a violation of these Terms, a technical issue, a legal concern, or another circumstance affecting the operation or interests of the community.
I am not required to provide advance notice before taking moderation action.
5.2 Account Restrictions and Termination
I may reject registrations, issue warnings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate membership at my discretion, subject to applicable law.
Such action may be taken for violations of these Terms, harmful conduct, suspected abuse, security concerns, or other reasons I consider appropriate for the operation of the community.
Where appropriate, I may take action even if the conduct in question is not expressly described in a specific community rule.
I am not obligated to provide an appeal process or detailed explanation for every moderation decision, although I may do so where appropriate.
5.3 No Obligation to Mediate Disputes
Members are encouraged to resolve ordinary disagreements constructively.
I am not obligated to mediate disputes between members, investigate every allegation, or take action on every report.
I may intervene where I consider intervention appropriate, but members remain responsible for their own conduct and interactions.
5.4 Changes to Community Rules
I may introduce, modify, or remove community guidelines as the community develops.
Additional rules may apply to particular discussion areas, events, features, or services.
Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated to members.
6. Member Content and Contributions
6.1 Ownership of Your Content
You retain ownership of original content that you create and submit to the community, subject to the rights of other people and any licences you grant under these Terms.
Member content may include posts, comments, discussions, photographs, videos, audio recordings, written materials, and other contributions.
Nothing in these Terms automatically transfers ownership of your original work to me.
6.2 Responsibility for Member Content
You are responsible for the content you submit, publish, upload, or otherwise make available through the community.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit your content and grant the licences described in these Terms.
You must not knowingly submit unlawful content, infringing material, fraudulent information, or material that violates another person’s rights.
Opinions and statements expressed by members are their own and do not necessarily reflect my views, beliefs, or positions.
6.3 Licence to Operate the Community
By submitting content to the community, you grant me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, administer, develop, and promote the community.
This licence permits the technical and administrative uses necessary to make your contributions available through the website and its associated community services.
For example, it may permit displaying your post to other members, storing it in website backups, generating previews, formatting it for different devices, or transferring it to a replacement platform if the community moves.
The licence does not transfer ownership of your content to me.
6.4 Licence for Use Outside the Community
In addition to the operational uses described above, you grant me permission to reproduce, display, share, distribute, and adapt your publicly submitted community contributions for purposes related to my content, educational activities, and promotion of iCreateMyReality.org.
These uses may include featuring a contribution on the website, referring to it in an article, discussing it in a video, or sharing it through associated communication channels.
This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free.
Where reasonably necessary for the intended use, the licence may include identifying you by your community username or other attribution associated with the contribution.
I do not acquire ownership of your contribution merely by exercising this licence.
This licence does not automatically authorize the public disclosure of private messages, passwords, payment information, private account information, or other information that is not part of your publicly submitted contribution.
I will not treat this general content licence as unlimited permission to disclose sensitive personal information in circumstances that would be inconsistent with applicable privacy law or other legal obligations.
6.5 Removal of Content and Withdrawal of Permission
You may request the removal of your contributions or ask that future uses under the licence described in Section 6.4 cease by contacting [email protected].
I will consider such requests and act as required by applicable law.
Removal from the website may not eliminate copies that other members have independently saved, shared, or reproduced, or copies retained in backups for a reasonable period.
To the extent permitted by law, uses already completed before a licence is withdrawn may not be reversible.
Where a member requests that content no longer be used publicly, I will make reasonable efforts to stop future uses within my control, subject to applicable legal obligations and any legitimate reasons for retaining or using the material.
6.6 Removal of Infringing Content
If you believe that content posted in the community infringes your rights, you may contact me at [email protected] with information identifying the material and explaining the concern.
I may remove or restrict access to disputed material while reviewing the matter.
7. Intellectual Property Belonging to the Website
Unless otherwise indicated, original content created by me and published through iCreateMyReality.org—including articles, videos, written materials, graphics, and other resources—is owned by me or used under an appropriate licence.
Your access to the website does not transfer ownership of this content to you.
You may access and use the content for personal, noncommercial purposes unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, redistribute, sell, republish, or commercially exploit my original content without permission or another lawful basis.
Nothing in this section restricts uses permitted by applicable law.
You may link to publicly available pages on the website, provided that you do not misrepresent your relationship with me or imply endorsement without permission.
8. Educational Content and Professional Advice
8.1 General Educational Purpose
The website and community may contain educational materials, opinions, personal experiences, interpretations, and discussions relating to health, psychology, spirituality, personal development, and other subjects.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, this content is provided for general informational and educational purposes.
It is not a substitute for individualized professional advice, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or services.
8.2 Medical and Health Information
Health-related content may include personal experiences, dietary suggestions, wellness practices, alternative approaches, interpretations of health conditions, and discussions of conventional or unconventional health perspectives.
Such content should not be treated as individualized medical advice or as a substitute for assessment and care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Information shared through the community may not be appropriate for your particular circumstances.
You are responsible for considering your own needs and circumstances when evaluating health information.
Do not disregard, discontinue, or delay appropriate medical care solely because of something you read, watch, or discuss through the website.
Where you have questions about a health condition, treatment, medication, dietary change, or other medical matter, consider consulting a qualified healthcare professional who can assess your individual situation.
8.3 Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being
The community may discuss emotional experiences, psychological concepts, mental health, personal transformation, and approaches to personal growth.
These discussions are not a substitute for individualized mental healthcare, counselling, psychotherapy, or other professional support.
Members may have different experiences, perspectives, and needs.
No particular psychological outcome, recovery, transformation, or improvement is promised or guaranteed through participation in the community or the use of its content.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, seek appropriate emergency assistance rather than relying on the community for urgent support.
8.4 No Guaranteed Results
Spiritual practices, personal-development methods, educational materials, and other approaches discussed through the community may affect different people in different ways.
I do not guarantee that you will achieve a particular result, experience a specific transformation, improve a health condition, resolve a personal difficulty, or obtain any other particular outcome.
Individual experiences depend on numerous factors outside my control.
8.5 Member Discussions Are Not Professional Services
Unless a separate written agreement expressly establishes otherwise, participation in the community does not create a professional relationship between you and me.
This includes a doctor-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, legal advisory relationship, financial advisory relationship, or other individualized professional relationship.
Members should not assume that a discussion, comment, direct message, or shared resource constitutes a personalized assessment or professional recommendation.
8.6 Independent Judgment
You are responsible for evaluating information obtained through the community, considering its relevance to your circumstances, and deciding whether and how to act on it.
You may encounter ideas or opinions that conflict with your existing beliefs or with information obtained from other sources.
You are encouraged to exercise independent judgment, ask questions, and seek additional information where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms guarantees the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of every statement made by me, another member, or a third party.
9. Personal Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Participation in an online community involves interaction with other people and exposure to information that may be incomplete, disputed, inaccurate, upsetting, or unsuitable for a particular individual.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.
- You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it.
- You understand that members may express opinions that I do not share or endorse.
- You are responsible for how you interact with other members.
- You understand that sharing personal information online may carry privacy risks.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a particular discussion, practice, or activity is appropriate for you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you accept the ordinary risks associated with voluntarily participating in an online discussion community.
Nothing in this section excludes liability or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Privacy and Confidentiality
10.1 Separate Privacy Policy
Your use of the website is also subject to the applicable Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected.
The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
If you have questions about privacy practices, you may contact [email protected].
10.2 Personal Information
You agree not to collect, use, disclose, or misuse another member’s personal information without an appropriate legal basis or authorization.
You must not use the community to harvest email addresses, compile member information for unauthorized purposes, or engage in conduct that violates applicable privacy laws.
10.3 No Guarantee of Confidentiality
Unless a feature expressly provides otherwise, you should not assume that content submitted to an online community will remain confidential.
Other members may read, copy, screenshot, download, or share content they can access.
Even where access is restricted to registered members, I cannot guarantee that every member will respect the privacy expectations of others.
You should exercise care when deciding whether to share personal, confidential, medical, financial, or otherwise sensitive information.
10.4 Private Messages
Private messaging features, if available, are intended to facilitate communication between members.
Private messages should not be treated as a guarantee of absolute confidentiality.
You must not use private messages to harass, threaten, defraud, exploit, or otherwise harm another person.
Where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security concerns, legal obligations, or reports of misconduct, I may take appropriate action concerning private messaging features, subject to applicable law and the website’s privacy practices.
10.5 Third-Party Processing
Operating the website may require the use of third-party hosting providers, authentication services, email delivery services, payment processors, video platforms, and other technical service providers.
These providers may process information as necessary to supply their services.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and legal requirements.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The community may include links to external websites, videos, articles, applications, or other third-party resources.
Such resources are provided for convenience, reference, or discussion.
I do not necessarily endorse external content, products, services, opinions, or organizations merely because they are linked to or discussed through the community.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
I do not control the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of external services and cannot guarantee their continued operation.
Your use of third-party services is at your own discretion and may be subject to additional terms imposed by those providers.
12. Website Availability and Technical Limitations
12.1 Availability
I aim to maintain a functional and accessible website but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability.
Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical failures, hosting problems, security incidents, or other circumstances.
12.2 Changes to Features
The website, community structure, available resources, and membership features may change as the project develops.
I may introduce, modify, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary or appropriate.
Where appropriate, material changes affecting members will be communicated.
12.3 Third-Party Dependencies
The website may depend on third-party services and software, including WordPress components, membership tools, hosting infrastructure, authentication systems, and external media services.
Changes or failures affecting these services may affect the website’s operation.
To the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for failures or disruptions attributable to third-party services outside my reasonable control.
12.4 Security
I take reasonable steps to operate the website responsibly, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You acknowledge that online systems may be affected by vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, data loss, or other security incidents.
You agree not to exploit vulnerabilities, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website’s security.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
13.1 Website Provided on an Available Basis
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and community are provided on an “as available” basis.
I do not guarantee that every piece of content will be accurate, complete, current, suitable for your purposes, or available at all times.
Nothing in these Terms limits any express commitment I make in a separate agreement.
13.2 No Guarantee of Outcomes
I make no general guarantee that participation in the community or use of its content will produce any particular personal, professional, financial, health-related, spiritual, or other outcome.
13.3 Member Conduct
Members are responsible for their own conduct, statements, and contributions.
I do not automatically endorse or adopt statements made by members.
Although I reserve moderation rights, I cannot guarantee that all inappropriate, inaccurate, unlawful, or harmful content will be identified or removed.
13.4 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the website or community.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for losses arising from your reliance on member contributions, third-party content, temporary service interruptions, or conduct by other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer protections, statutory rights, or other legal entitlements that apply notwithstanding a contractual disclaimer.
The interpretation and application of this section are subject to applicable law.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising directly from your unlawful conduct, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material violation of these Terms.
Where legally appropriate, this may include reasonable legal expenses incurred in responding to a claim arising from your conduct.
This provision does not require you to indemnify me for losses caused by my own conduct to the extent such an obligation would be unlawful or unenforceable.
Nothing in this section overrides any mandatory legal protections or limits that apply under applicable law.
15. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the community, website functionality, legal requirements, or business practices.
The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Where required by applicable law, or where a change materially affects members’ rights or obligations, I will provide appropriate notice and obtain any necessary consent.
Your continued use of the community after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent that such acceptance is legally effective under applicable law.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may discontinue your use of the community and request account closure.
Changes to privacy practices will be addressed through the Privacy Policy and any additional notice or consent required by applicable law.
16. Suspension, Termination, and Community Closure
You may stop using the community at any time.
You may request account closure by contacting [email protected] or by using any available account-management functionality.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access, or discontinue the community, subject to applicable law and any separate contractual obligations.
Where the community is discontinued, I may take reasonable steps to close accounts, remove or archive content, and manage the website’s remaining operations.
I do not guarantee that members will retain access to the community or its content indefinitely.
Where applicable, any outstanding payment, refund, data-retention, or other legal obligations will continue to apply.
16.1 Effect of Termination
Upon termination of your account, your permission to access member-only features ends.
Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply where necessary by their nature, including provisions concerning intellectual property, content licences, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
The continued application of any provision remains subject to applicable law and any rights that survive termination.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without displacing mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the community will be addressed by the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in Ontario.
Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising a statutory right to bring a complaint before a regulatory authority or pursue a remedy in a forum required or permitted by applicable law.
Where appropriate, I encourage members to contact me directly to attempt to resolve concerns before pursuing formal proceedings.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to particular services, constitute the agreement governing your use of the community.
If separate terms apply to a specific paid product, service, or event, those terms will govern the relevant transaction to the extent of any inconsistency.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.
Any invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary where legally permissible.
18.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not necessarily waive the right to enforce it on another occasion.
18.4 Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without authorization where such authorization is legally required.
I may transfer or assign my rights and obligations in connection with a lawful restructuring, transfer, or continuation of the website or community, subject to applicable law and any required notice or consent.
18.5 Electronic Communications
You agree that notices relating to your account, the website, or these Terms may be provided electronically where permitted by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information for your account.
18.6 No Partnership or Employment Relationship
Participation in the community does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency relationship, or other formal relationship between you and me.
18.7 Language
These Terms are written in English. If a translation is provided, the relationship between the English version and the translation will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
19. Contact Information
